Ithaca Fine Chocolates announces the annual child art search! We’re looking for children’s artwork to feature on collectible cards in the next round of Art Bars… SUBMISSIONS -Artists aged 0-12. -General theme: none, just your best, most creative art work! -Both abstract and representational works are welcome in any medium. Works are judged on originality, composition, and technical merit. We’re looking for works inspired by the artist’s own imagination! Please do not submit work that was completed as part of a directed group project aimed at a specific outcome (Don’t hesitate to contact us at 607.257.7954 with any questions regarding this requirement.). While the original piece can be any size, please keep in mind that the reproductions featured in Art Bars range in dimension from only 1.5 inches to 3.5 inches for length or width. Pieces should translate well to this tiny format! Works in color often reproduce better than those in black and white, and words typically do not translate well. Deadline: Sunday, September 12. Submissions must be enclosed in an envelope or otherwise covered and protected. No frames, please. Group submissions may be contained in one large closed folder or envelope.
